Obituary for Donald E. Crowl

Donald E. Crowl
Donald E. Crowl, 86, of York died February 26, 2018 at his residence. He is the husband of the late Ruth A. (McCartney) Crowl.

Born August 5, 1931 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Sylvester Jeremiah and Elizabeth Margaret (Pohlman) Crowl.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Donald worked at Suburban Bowlerama. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the York County Bowlers Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila A. Fogle of Mt. Wolf, a son, Donald E. Crowl, Jr. of York; 3 grandsons, Tony and Dan Fogle of York and Dave Fogle of Dover; and 5 great grandchildren.

Following cremation, private graveside services will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
