Obituary for Lester "Bud" Warner

Lester “Bud” Warner, 91, of The Villages died on Friday March 2.
He was born in Upshur County, West Virginia in 1926. He served in the United States Marine Corps in World War II. He was a Magistrate of Upshur County WV. He was a resident of Silver Lake in The Villages for 28 years. Bud was a charter member and past president of the WV Club, lifetime member of American Legion Post 347, was active in forming several country bands here and loved to entertain. He enjoyed traveling across the U.S, and Canada in his motorhome.
Bud is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dorothy Phillips . He is also survived by three step-children; Ruth, John and Jack Dye all of The Villages. He was preceded in death by his daughter Melody and step-daughter Kathryn.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beyers Funeral Home 134 North Highway 27/441 in Lady Lake.
