On March 3, 2018, Thomas Norman Morgan, Jr., beloved husband of Doris M. (Clark) Morgan, loving father of Karen M. Mundey and her companion Richard, Thomas N. Morgan, III and his wife Debbie, and William A. Morgan and his wife Jennifer, cherished grandfather of Cherie, Andrew, Scott, Nicholas and Amy, great-grandfather of Blake, Ayden and Devin, Jr.
Thomas was born on May 2, 1932, in Nanty-Glo, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Ethel Morgan. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. During his military career, he was stationed in Italy, Africa, Mississippi, and Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland before retiring from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. During his life, Thomas also worked as a coal miner, a steel worker, a painter, and as the Food Service Manager at the Cleaves Methodist Home in Washington, D.C.
Friends may call Thursday 5-7 p.m. at the Slack Funeral Home, P.A., 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD. 21043. Funeral Services from the above funeral home, Friday 9:30 a.m. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery - Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Disabled American Veterans.
