Mrs. Angelina Chibbaro passed away on Monday at Riversedge Rehab in Raritan. She was 95 years old.

Mrs. Chibbaro was born in Staten Island and lived for many years in New Brunswick. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick.

Mrs. Chibbaro was employed by Bond Clothing in New Brunswick for over 23 years. She was also a secretary for the former Mayor of New Brunswick, John Lynch Jr.

She loved keeping a vegetable garden cooking, playing Bingo, and the New York Yankees and the occasional trip to Atlantic City.

Mrs. Chibbaro was pre deceased by her siblings, Josephine Biggica, Anna Lupari, Rose Biggica, and Joseph Biggica.

She is survived by her children, Rose Ann Maggio and her husband Anthony of North Brunswick and Anthony J. Chibbaro of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christine Guiducci and her husband Mario , Scott Maggio and his wife Jennifer, Brian Chibbaro and his wife Tracy and Lisa Chibbaro and Great Grandchildren Samantha, Giovanna, Harrison, Joshua, Jacob and Kenleigh.

Services will begin on Friday at 9:15 at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset followed by a 10 AM funeral mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin in New Brunswick and interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visiting will be held from 4-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
