Obituary for Wathena G Swan (Rea)

Wathena G. Swan age 90, of Leadwood, Missouri; passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the St. Genevieve County Hospital in St. Genevieve, Missouri.

She was born January 28, 1928 in Grassy, Missouri; daughter of Joseph and Effie Mitchell Rea. She and Carrel W. Swan were united in marriage on August 30, 1944 and he passed away on May 4, 2000.

She is survived by one son Robert Swan of Leadwood, Missouri; daughters Linda O’Neal of Cottage Hills, Illinois; June Howard of Beech Bluff, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren

Preceding her in death was her husband, parents, sons William and David, brothers Oscar, Maynard, Shelby, August, Thomas, Oran, Luther and Eilbert and sisters Reba Reed, Myrtle Carter, Opal Cato and Ora Swan.

Visitation will be Monday, March 12, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Grassy Cemetery in Grassy Missouri.
