Obituary for Carmen E. Soto (Perez)

Carmen Elvira Soto, 71, of Trenton, entered into God’s care Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Univ. Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.

Born in San Sabastian, PR., she resided in Trenton most of her life.

Mrs. Soto was an excellent homemaker, a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and wife, an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Predeceased by her parents, Simon Perez and Maria (Rodriguez) Perez, her brothers and sisters, her son Freddy and her daughter Ana Maria, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Silfredo Soto; two daughters, Carmen Benitez and husband Wilfredo, and Rosa Rivera and husband Miguel; two sons; Luis Soto and Antonio Soto and wife Vimary; two brothers and a sister, Johnny Perez and wife Susie, Nick Perez and wife Conchy, and Milin Perez; seven cherished grandchildren, Alicia, Wilfredo, Jr., Luis, Angel, Marco, Lidia and Noel; three great grandchildren, Alayna, Raiden and Jasper; also survived by a nephew that she raised, Willie Vazquez and wife Yvonne and many other nieces and nephews.

Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated 7 pm Friday, March 9th at Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619

Calling hours will be held Friday March 9th from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday March 10th from 12 to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow Saturday March 10th in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane in Hamilton, NJ 08610.
