Condolences

Condolence From: sandra allard
Condolence: My condolence to Chris and Mark.It is very sad to lose a mom. I send you my sympathy plus a little memory.
I met your mom only once and I was struck by how kind she was. There was a hurt seagull on the road and for one reason or other I was on my way to see Chris and I met your mom. I told her about the seagull and she got a box for it so that it could be kept inside until someone came from the animal shelter or the humane society to look after it. NOt too many people would care about a hurt bird but she did.

God bless both you boys and continue to remember your mother with warm and loving thoughts.

Condolence From: Nancy
Condolence: Linda was my first and lifelong friend. We both lived on Kingsway Street and met before we went to Kindergarten together at Kingsway Park School. Her Baba looked after her while her mom was at work. I was invited for lunch sometimes and one day it was pudahe. I don’t know how to spell Ukrainian words but it was like potato pancakes. Really good. Linda had a shed her dad built and as young preteens we were allowed to use it as a clubhouse. Her dad Bill played the fiddle and so did mine. After Linda and I were married and had kids, and I moved back here, we both got older, but our connection never ended. If we hadn’t seen each other for a couple of years, it was like yesterday. Linda was always kind and wanted to help if she could. With ill health a cross she had to bear for much of her adult life, Linda seldom complained but always wanted to know how we were doing. She always sent cards in the mail, even after it got expensive, for my birthday, and Christmas etc. Linda had a great sense of humour but was also a deep thinker. She will be sadly missed and I wish to say how very much she added another dimension to my life. My thoughts are with her boys and with Sadie, the feisty cat named after my mom. Rest In Peace, my lovely friend.
