KOVARCIK, Jozef “Joe”- Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday March 12, 2018 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Barbara Kovarcik (nee Vass) for over 56 years. Loving father of Joe Kovarcik and Helen (Luke) Lukianchuk. Proud grandfather of Alex and Mikayla. Dear brother to Ruzenka Crnobrnja and is survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; Jozef and Rosa (nee Paluska) Kovarcik and by his brother Jano (Cica) Kovarcik. Joe worked as an electrician in maintenance at Kelsey Hayes for over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan. Joe enjoyed playing soccer and watching many hockey games. He was especially fond of fishing and loved his garden. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday March 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Lloyd Bennett officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetry. If desired, memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
