Obituary for Mario Ayapana Parreno
September 19, 1941 - March 11, 2018
Dr. Mario A. Parreno passed away on Sunday March 11 2018 with his loving wife Corazon at his side, at the age of 76. Mario is lovingly remembered by his wife Corazon of 53 years, sons Mario (Rio) Soliven Parreno, Ernesto (Timmy) G. Parreno, and daughter Michelle Guevara Parreno Struck. He will be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren John, Justin, Melissa, Alexis, Nicholas, Zoe, and Mia. Lastly remembered by his two sisters Melecia and Remedio. Mario was predeceased by his other siblings Rodrigo, Prudencio, Vicente, and Teodora.
Dr. Mario A. Parreno was born in Pagbilao, Quezon philippines. He was a leader to his family and many others who knew him. During the 80’s he was the chairmen of the board of veterinarian medicine and a president of veterinarian practitioner association of the Philippines. Alongside that Mario was known as a determined hard worker, he built and owned four animal hospitals in the Philippines. As a veterinarian he was known for his speciality surgery in ear cropping of the Doberman dog. To his family he was a disciplinarian, but also a loving father and grandfather. From his family and friends he will be greatly remembered for the way they he impacted all of their lives.
A viewing and service will be held on Saturday March 17, 2018 at crawford Mortuary from 9-2 pm. 8717 Tampa Avenue, Northridge, CA 91324
