Condolence: I don't know what to say. I didn't want to lose my friend. You were not only a good friend, but a good person with a huge heart. I'm glad your children brought you happiness in life, even if I was never able to meet them. I know you loved them beyond words, and it made me happy to see my friend happy. Nothing I can say will make this right but we will not forget you. I wont forget you. I don't break my promises easily. I will always be your friend, in this life or the next, if there is one. I hope you find peace wherever you are that you could not find here. All I ever wished for you was to find happiness, to feel safe, to feel loved. I miss you, James. We miss you.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family and friends of James. I was blessed to have worked with him on our team at Catholic Medical Center. He was kind, funny and a pleasure to be around. I had the pleasure of meeting his wife, and little girl that he beamed with pride when talking about them. I am so very sorry for the loss of a wonderful person. May you rest in peace James. May God be with your family at this difficult time. We all enjoyed our time with you and have great memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Gone too soon...I extremely saddened to hear of the loss of a wonderful man.

Condolence: My deepest condolences go out to the Kirby family. I was a co-worker with James at Catholic Medical Center. James was such a kind gentle soul-- with such a loving, caring and thoughtful family. I remember bringing my family to the Kirby home, and going Easter Egg hunting with his family, and friends. My kids, husband and I enjoyed the quality time spent with James and his wonderful family. He showed my kids the secret hideaway underneath the stairs. James was such an intelligent and bright human being, and had so much pride and joy when he spoke of his children Ryan and Athena, and of course, his beautiful wife Hannah. Time has gone by so quickly, and James has made such an impression on all of us at CMC-- he was part of our family... and we think of him often... I'm saddened by James' passing... but even more sad that we didn't keep in touch. I miss James. Elizabeth Harlow and family

Condolence: I had the absolute pleasure of working with James at Catholic Medical Center. Though far apart in age, he and I had a great working relationship. James had a quick and quirky sense of humor and could joke all night long about so many of life's absurdities. From Lord of the Rings to archaeology to Curly vs Shemp (yes, this debate really happened), he made my 12 hour long Friday nights fly by. He talked so much about his children and we had the pleasure of meeting Athena. I've missed him since he left CMC and we speak of him fondly and often. As my shiftmates can confirm, there are many times, (and not just when my corny jokes fall flat), that I utter the words, "I really miss James". My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family, especially Ryan and Athena... he loved them so much and the smiles that always came to him when speaking of them I'll never forget.

Condolence: It is with the deepest sorrow that I write. I remember a young man of about 11 or 12 who was in my 6th grade classroom with a young blonde sister who just moved on to the next grade or two above him. He was such a sweet boy who obviously made an impact on the world is taken too young. His sweet smile in my class with his bright eyes that I still see in this photo. I am so sorry to read that he has passed. Hugs and love to you all. Rest in peace. Mrs. Connelly
