It is with great sadness that the family of Gladys Jean Yeager announce her passing March 23, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society in Loveland , Colorado. Gladys was born on May 26, 1935 in Johnstown, PA to the late Clarence and Mary B (Green) Schellhammer. On January 3, 1953 she married the love of her life Dennis Dean Yeager Sr.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Denese Yeager (John) Diaz of Fort Collins, Colorado and son, Dennis Dean (Dale) Yeager Jr. of Ormond Beach, Florida; granddaughter, Deana Jean Diaz, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, sister, Marjorie Jacobs of Johnstown, PA, her Aunt Kay Hack, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents and brother, Clarence Shellhammer.

Her children and family will place Gladys at her final resting place beside her beloved Dennis Sr. at Grand View Cemetery in Johnstown PA at a later date.
