Leola A.  "Lee Lee"  Brierly
Leola "Lee Lee" A. Brierly, age 58, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born June 16, 1959 in Lynch, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James and Ruby (Halcomb) Brierly. She formerly worked at King's Daughters' Hospital, where she was a nursing assistant. She enjoyed word search books, collecting thousands of dolls and ink pens and unique salt and pepper shakers, and she loved jewelry, makeup and spending time and laughing with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ed Shepherd of Madison; her son, Ed Shepherd Jr. (Mindy) of Lexington, Indiana; her daughter, Lisa Lee (Danny) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Dalton Brewer, Tisha Batson, and Nathanial Brewer; her sisters: Carolyn Mack (Ernie) of Milton, Kentucky, Marie Strickland of Sacramento, California, Rita Kinman (Doug) of Madison, Linda Boston of Madison, and Juanita Brandum (Jeff) of Hanover; her brother, James Brierly (Donna) of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Edward Elbert; her twin infant sister; her niece, Julie A. Boston and her nephews, Roy Kinman and Marty L. Mack.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, 423 West Main Street, in Downtown Madison, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2018, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Leola Brierly Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
