The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Nicol can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to have found out today about the passing of Paul. I looked forward to having a daily conversation with him at Tim Hortons in Cookstown for 12 years. I’ll always remember him as one of the kindest and funniest men I’ve ever known. I honestly feel so lucky to have known him. I’ll definitely miss all of the one liners and jokes. My condolences to you all. I’m sure Paul and Orval are up there having a coffee right now.
