The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betty Gambrell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am sorry to hear about the loss of your love for one. We all have to deal with death and sometimes it’s a tough thing to overcome. In 2 Corinthians 1:6 it states: Now if we face trials it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are being comforted, it is for your comfort, which acts to help you to endure the same suffering that we also suffer. I hope this scripture at 2 Corinthians helps the family during this tough time and I will continue to pray for the family also.

Condolence: I wanted to give you my deepest sympathies. The death of a loved one causes us deep pain. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. You can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3) At John 5:28,29 Jehovah has promised us the beautiful hope of the resurrection, the hope of being reunited with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. No doubt this is a promise that we look forward to in the near future. If you would like to see what the reality of the resurrection can mean for you personally, please take a look at the following video: https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODProgramsEvents/pub-jwbcov_201405_5_VIDEO

Condolence: Our prayer is that God will comfort you all during this time of sorrow. We know that our loss is Heaven's gain. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. (2 Cor. 5:8)

Condolence: My condolences to you and your family during this time of bereavement. It’s been said that “ earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal”.... the Lord is very mindful of you and what you’re going through. Cast your cares upon him because he cares for you. Praying for your strength in the days to come.

Condolence: Carla - You and your family are in my prayers during this most difficult time. Death is just as the bible describes - an ENEMY [1 Cor. 15:26] I look forward to the time when we can welcome our loved ones back. Your momma would make me smile when she would call me Roxann and then she would say, "I know that's not how to say your name, but that's what I can remember" Great memories.

Condolence: I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”?—Rom. 12:15.
