Condolence: India, I just heard of Fred's passing today. I was so sorry to hear of it. He was always so nice and kind to the employees at the library. I will always remember him fondly. You are in my thoughts as well.

Condolence: Dear India, Fred and I performed together in a new play at the Ohio Theatre in NYC years back. He was an extremely talented actor and a wonderful colleague. It was a pleasure to work with him. You have my deepest sympathy. Julia

Condolence: I was a friend of Fred in Cedar Rapids because he was one year behind me in high school, his parents were friends of mine and most importantly he used to visit his aunt and uncle, Lou and Gordon Simonds who lived right across the street from me. As an interesting note, I have some home movies of Fred doing silly things such as running around our front yard, jumping over the flower beds and so forth and I think the thespian urge was in him even then and in my own case, after becoming a computer programmer in my adult life I have now become a playwright and have had 4 of my plays produced at our regional theatre, TCR. Also, could anyone tell me where is Gordon Simonds, Jr who was the last I knew on the West Coast?? My very best to you all at this difficult time which unfortunately we all must go through sometime during our lives.

Condolence: India - I remember with great fondness the relatively brief association I had with Fred as a member of Holy Trinity and serving on the Vestry with him, and attending your wedding.
