Obituary for Betty Jane Breeden (Geer)

Betty Jane Geer Breeden, 82, of Billings, MT, formerly from Elko, Nevada died March 30, 2018. A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Billings on April 12, 2018 at 3:35 P.M. Betty was born on July 6, 1935 to Lena Mae Griffin and William E. Geer in Coin, Iowa. She had a Master’s degree in Education and was a primary teacher in Iowa, Montana, Alaska, and Nevada for over 40 years. She married Leslie M. Breeden on Aug. 27, 1960 in Anchorage, Alaska. He died Feb. 4, 2000. Her 3 sisters and her twin brother preceded her in death too. Her sisters were Doris (Ray) Jansen, Ellen (Bert) Wilcox, Grace (Don) Snyder. Her twin brother was Billy (Judy) Geer. Judy is now the only one surviving. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. They are Susan Geer (D.K. Komlosi), Kurt Geer (Carlene), Kelly Geer, Dewey Beezley (Nancy), Joyce Nelson (David), Marvin Beezley (Raisa), Gorden Beezley, Cheryl Wilcox, Brent Wilcox (Sara), and Zane Jansen (Sonia). She had many great nieces and nephews and some great, great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her good friends Ruby Gliko and Peggy Raine of Elko, Nevada and her cat, Emme Lou. In her retirement years she traveled all over Europe and across the United States with her friends. She will be missed by her family and friends.
