Lessard, Loran David the ice cream man of Excelsior (Licks Unlimited), age 80, of Minnetonka passed away on April 9th, 2018. He was an avid pheasant hunter and passionate about predicting the outcome of horse races and testing it at the track. He was born to the late Frances and Francis Lessard. He was married to Janet Kay Lessard for 43 years who passed away in 2005. Preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Lessard; his sister, Mary Lou Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Rose Lessard, and 2 children, Lori Lessard and Lynn (Shawn) Cormier; 5 grandchildren, Chelsea, Wyatt, and Sydney Cashman; Thomas and Nicole Cormier; and as a result of marriage he inherited 8 children and 23 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, April 13 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven (952-473-4422). Visitation 4-7 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 520 2nd Street, Excelsior with a prayer service and remembrance at 7 PM as well as one hour prior to the Mass at Church.
