The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeannie (Jean) Kollodge can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Best Friend

I met Jean about 11 years ago, we were neighbors.  We became instant friends!  I cannot tell you how many times she came to my rescue when something of mine didn't work...lawn mower etc...  She and I talked daily.  She fed me often too, I don't think I ever turned down that offer!  I remember a "mean" prank I played on her...we were pulling some weeds and I jumped up and yelled, "SNAKE!!"  She must of jumped backwards ten feet!!  I started laughing like crazy and told her I was kidding...I was called a few swear words, but then we both laughed!  I reminded her of that often, and again, another swear word!  Jean was so kind to me, always supportive when I needed it.  We usually mowed our lawns the same day and would wave every time we passed each other!  Another funny time...she was giving me a ride on her 4-Wheeler and she thought she could ride over some cut down tree, well we got stuck on the tree and both fell off and got covered with thousands of ants!  At that time, it wasn't fun, but later it was funny!  We sat at many a bon-fire and talked smart.  I could go on and on with stories!  Jean was a wonderful neighbor and friend.  I miss her so much already, but I know she is in Heaven and no longer in pain. Until I see you again Jean, know that I love you always!!,  Cindy
