RAYMOND BOYD FAIR passed away peacefully at the age of 84, on April 11, 2018 at the William Osler Health Centre (Etobicoke General Hospital). He was born February 8, 1934 and was a life-long resident of Toronto, Ontario. His wife of 42 years, Mona Fair, predeceased him in 2002. He is survived by his only son, Charles Fair (and Charles’ wife Roshane Seneviratne), and his grandchildren, Evan Fair, Zachary Fair and Luke Fair.

Raymond was a fun-loving, charismatic, kind and compassionate soul who was committed to his Christian faith and held various leadership roles in churches throughout Toronto. He was a model train enthusiast and known to enjoy cycling and swimming.

Raymond worked for many years in the Bell Canada family, starting out as an installer for Northern Electric in 1961 and retiring in 1990 after many years as the top expert in electronic switching systems. Throughout his lifetime, he volunteered thousands of hours installing electronic audio-visual systems for many churches and groups throughout the community. After his retirement he committed his time as a personal support worker caring for his wife and many others.
