Obituary for Robert Kizer
Robert Kizer of Moosic died Monday April 16, 2018 at the Geisinger Community Medical Center following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary McAvaney.
Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Francis and Jane Brown Kizer. Educated in Scranton schools, prior to his retirement he was employed by Jaunty Textile Co.
Surviving are a daughter Patricia Jones and her fiancee Carl Pucylowski, Pocono Lake, grandson Kyle Wenner; sister Helen Smith; brothers Thomas and Francis Kizer.
He was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Jones; brother John Kizer.
Friends and family may pay their respects Friday from 5-7 pm in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave. Scranton. Interment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst will be private at the convenience of the family.
