The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Pfeil can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

A fellow USN vet, a kind and sweet disposition, a brilliant but simple man, a friend to me and to all who knew him. I was privileged to spend our time together. Just let him fish and he'll be happy enough to make all others he touched happy. What a loss! The world is indeed a smaller place without him. God bless Dave and his entire family.
