Marty G  Malloy
Marty G. Malloy, 61, of Wentzville, MO, formally of Piedmont, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital, Lake Saint Louis, MO. He was born October 19, 1956, at Poplar Bluff, MO, son of Marvin G. Malloy and Dorothy (Kirkpatrick) Malloy.
Marty had grown up in Piedmont and graduated from Clearwater High School. He lived many years in Poplar Bluff, MO, and later in the St. Louis area. Marty married Rosalie DeShaney and to this union one child was born. He had worked for Greif in Wright City, Mo, where he served as plant supervisor for several years.
Marty was a loving father and grandfather. As a child Miles remembers that his father stayed busy coaching his baseball and soccer teams. He also enjoyed taking Miles to sporting events or concerts.
He was preceded in death by father; and one sister Nancy Malloy.
Marty is survived by his loving son, Miles Malloy and wife Mindee of St. Louis, MO; granddaughter, Maci Malloy; his mother, Dorothy Carrow of Broadhead, KY; brother, David Malloy and Mary Jo, of Sikeston, MO; and sisters, Brenda Malloy Davis and companion Zane Suedmeyer of Piedmont, MO, Alice Malloy of Bedford, VA.
Visitation was held Friday, April 20, 2018, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Services followed at 1:00 pm, also at the chapel. Pastor Adam Fears ministered to the family. Allen Denning, Elvis DeShaney, James Prater, Don Elrod, Wayne Elrod and Melvin Julian served as pallbearers. Burial was at Masonic Cemetery, Piedmont, MO.
