Obituary for James Walter Edwards
Memorial Services for James W. Edwards, 76, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at Crosier - Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
James passed away April 26th, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born August 20th, 1941.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Zollie Edwards; brothers- Billy Frank Edwards and Johnny Lewis Edwards and sister Cecil Fern Edwards.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Edwards; daughter - Leigh and husband Colby Underwood. Sons- Chris Edwards and John and wife Tana Edwards. Grandchildren -Raygene and Sam Underwood; Benjamin, Katelyn and Katherine Edwards and Peyton Griffin-Edwards.
James is also survived by sisters- Ruth Carroll, Betty Vereker and Mildred Otwell and brothers- Troy and wife Glenda Johnson and Charlie Edwards. James is also survived by his best friend, Larry Duncan.
James served in the United States Navy, after which he and his brother owned and operated J & B Trailers. James retired from truck driving after 20+ years.
James was a loving husband, daddy and papaw.
