Condolence: My family and I feel so fortunate that Bill came into our lives. We were looking for someone to adopt our dachshund, Oliver. Bill met Oliver and they seemed like a great pair. It was a hard decision to find Oliver a new home but Bill instantly showed us we made the right decision. Bill wrote my daughter an email from Oliver telling her how much he loved his new home and talked about all the fun adventures he was going on. He would share pictures of their adventures periodically and he always sounded so cheerful. He will be missed.

Condolence: Bill encouraged me to run for a Director position at GARA years back so I did and ended up loving the opportunity. I went ahead and ran for a second time and it was equally rewarding. I remember one time my puppy locked herself in the car and Bill was quick to help me get her out. He was on one side calling her and I was on the other and eventually she put her paw on the unlock button and he pulled the door open. His plan worked and we shared a good laugh at our fortune and his creativity. He will be missed.

Condolence: To Brother Bob and Bill's extended family...
We have lost a treasure, but we were so fortunate to have him for so long.
Bill was a friend we will remember forever...he never forgot my birthday, although the cards were less than encouraging!! Like, the fire department monitoring my cake, etc.
We will miss him, and miss making cookies for him too. We wish we could have said goodbye...and thanked him for all the good times.

Condolence: Bill was so very considerate of others; he happened to share an exercise class at the hospital with my mother, who often commented on his good humor and thoughtfulness. When she passed, he arranged for me to meet with their class to share some special memories. His kindness meant so much and will be my persistent memory of Bill.

Condolence: Bill was truly a good person, truly. He always gave from his heart and did so unconditionally. The glow in the eyes of Eddie, Peewee, and Oliver always told us so.
