Condolence: I remember the celebrations through life when Mrs. Lillie Hodges' visits to Abbeville brought grace, charm, and honor. I acknowledge the love and bonding of the Aikens family as many would come to witness the family stories and celebrate their lives at "The Log Cabin" in Abbeville. Truly, I regret hearing of your loss, and I pray for comfort for the family. Sincerely, Lem "Butch" Patterson

Condolence: I was sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one. The bible assures us of seeing them again in the coming resurrection according to these scriptures [Acts 24:15]-- [John 5:28-29] and [John 11:25]. We find further hope in Revelations chapter 21:3-5 that says in part that, Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more. I hope these scriptures will bring you some comfort. With Deep Sympathy

Condolence: I would like to express my sympathy in the loss of your dear family member. The death of a loved one is one of the most painful events that can happen. Our loving heavenly father understand how you feel because death was not a part of his original purpose for mankind (Genesis 1:28). However, he provides comfort to help soothe the feelings of sadness and grief. Psalm 147:3 says; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. The wonderful promise for the future at Revelation 21:4 is very comforting. It says; He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Condolence: Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about her and bring her back again. John 5:28, 29 gives this assurance.
