Obituary for Aletta June Rice (Sanders)

Graveside service for Aletta June Rice, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Wade Yarbro will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Aletta June Rice passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 in Cleburne. She was born June 22, 1933 in Alvarado to Claude and Annie Wallace Sanders. June was a health caregiver until retiring.

Survivors include her children, Lloyd Rice and wife Emily and David Thompson and wife Amy, all of Quinlan, Larry Raymond Thompson and wife, Debbie of Cleburne and James Arly Thompson and wife, Faye of Granbury, Melody McClain of Cleburne, Brenda Loreen Batten and husband, John of Burleson, and Charlotte Lisa Kitchens and husband Tom of St. Charles, Missouri; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Claude (Lighting) Sanders of Rio Vista and Jack Sanders and wife Faye of Cleburne; sister, Kathleen Flores and husband Daniel of Cleburne; and additional loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.D. Rice; and daughter, Annie Thompson; sisters, Patsy Tuley and Helen Dean; and three brothers, Cecil Sanders, Marcellus (Chip) Sanders, and Hersuel Glen Sanders.
