The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Glen Ashton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: It is with great sadness to hear of your Loss of Glen, I knew Glen from working with him at GM, as well as his parents Ross and Jean as I use to drive them and others when I was working at what was Kingsway Arms.

It is with a heavy heart that I missed the service, however I was not in Canada.

To all that are sad and grief is over whelming rest assure he is watching over you all

Condolence From: Edward Swynar
Condolence: Hello Helen,

I just read of Glen's passing last night on-line, & I was instantly transported back in my mind to those "...salad days" that we both shared as 20-something year old supervisors in the GM Scarborough Van Plant...

I always liked Glen from our interactions both there, and later, in Oshawa. Even though any connection we may have shared between us professionally was over some years ago when we went off on our separate ways, he will always remain in my memory as surely being one of "...the good guys" that I was fortunate enough to have encountered in my lifetime...

Kindest regards and best wishes, both, to all,

"Eddy" Swynar
