Tommy Junior Long
December 29, 1950 - May 10, 2018

Tommy Junior Long went to be with the Lord May 10, 2018. He was born to George and Inez (Constant) Long in Mountain View, Arkansas. Tom spent his childhood years in Guion, Arkansas, until moving to Washington with his family in 1960.

Tom's life was centered around agriculture. Either in the orchard, hauling fruit, or working at the warehouse -ending with Custom Fruit until his retirement in 2016.

Tom enjoyed fishing and a good poker game with friends. When he was no longer able to fish because of his health, he enjoyed telling and hearing fish stories. There were many. He left this world surrounded by love.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, George Long, mother, Inez Long, brother, “Chubb” Long, and son, Rick Long. He is survived by his wife, Chris Long, brothers: Bill and James Long, sister, Linda Long, daughters: Amber Hughett and Val Ayres and his son, Michael Partee.

“If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.”

A Remembrance of Tom's life will be held on June 10, 2018, from 1:00 -4:00 pm at the fairgrounds in Waterville, located at 601 N Monroe St., Waterville, WA, with a potluck to follow.
