Obituary for John Gibson "Butch" Traylor Jr.

John G. “Butch” Traylor Jr., 62, of New Kent, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence. Born on February 6, 1956, in Petersburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late John G. Traylor Sr. and Beverly Talley Traylor. He was preceded in death by his son C.J. Traylor. Mr. Traylor is survived by his son, John G. Traylor III and wife Kelli of Hopewell; a step-son, Ryan Bondurant of Chesterfield; two grandchildren, Cody Traylor and Savannah Bondurant; a brother, Thomas R. Traylor of New Kent; a sister, Cindy Mondrey and husband, Willard of N. Chesterfield; and a nephew, Jacob Traylor. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
