Mrs. Martha Wright Mangum, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Kennestone Hospital following a brief illness. She was 85.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Holbrook Campground Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Baker officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Service at Woodstock.

Mrs. Mangum was born May 15, 1932 in Smyrna, Georgia to the late Ralph A. and Gladys Daniels Wright. Mrs. Mangum was employed with the Accounting Department with Travelers. After retirement in 1993 Martha began the genealogy research of her family which was her favorite past time. As of her passing she had over 26,000 names in her database.

Survivors include her two daughters, Betty Bruley (Jim), Woodstock, GA., Linda Mangum (Lesa Riggle), Marietta, GA; one son, Chuck Mangum (Ginger); grandchildren, James Bruley, Jr (Ashley), Crystalyn Mangum; great grandchildren, Dominick James Bruley and Rena’ Amber Mangum; brothers-in-law, Bill Hill, Marietta, GA, Preston Mangum (Allene), Marietta, GA; cousins Norma Carter, Marietta, GA., and Jo Patterson, Newnan, GA., Dane Berry, Ben Berry Henderson, Ralph and Nelda Berry, Lois White (Carroll);
