Ruby Geneva "Big Granny"  Gray
Mrs. Ruby Geneva “Big Granny” Gray, 82, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at her home. She was the daughter of the late L.T. Austin and Vercena Robinson Austin. She was a member of the Shady Oak Baptist Church in Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Vivian Gray; a son, MSGT. Luther E. Gray, Jr.; a grandson, Antonio “TJ” Holliday; a sister, Shirley Austin; three brothers, Roy Lee Austin, Ulysses Austin and John “Jake” Austin; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Gray; and a special sister-in-law, Agnes Austin.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are three daughters, Denise Holliday (Al Washington), Cheryl (David) Lewis and Jan (Michael) Lane, all of Greenville; two sons, Larry Gray and Michael Gray, both of Cincinnati, OH; a godson raised in the home, Donnie (Sharon) White of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one brother, Victor “Pete” (Carol) Austin of Mauldin, thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Joyce Austin of Cincinnati, OH; a brother-in-law, Silas (Willie Ree) Gray of Greenville; dear friends, Beatrice Moore, Nettie Chapman and J.C. Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
