Sparta, TN....Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Qualls, age 75 of Sparta, will be held at 3pm on Friday, May18, 2018, in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow immediately in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Robert Murdock will officiate the service. The family will receive friends Friday from 1pm until 3pm at the funeral home.

Bobby Joe was born in Sparta, Tennessee on Friday, June 5, 1942, to the late William Donald Qualls and the late Jo Ellen (Nash) Miller. He was a retired United States Navy combat veteran and a 32nd Degree Master Mason. He was a member of Cabul Lodge 116 of Green Cove Springs, FL., and a life-long member of the Shriners, American Legion and VFW.

Surviving family members include the following:
wife - Betty C. Qualls
children - Doneisa Alexander (Jeff) of Augusta, GA
Donna Shaw (Bill) of Chattanooga, TN
Donnay Rae Qualls of Green Cove, FL
Bobby Qualls, II (Trisha) of Keystone Heights, FL
Kathleen Yates (Derrick) of Cookeville, TN
brother - Lewis Qualls (Jo) of Glascow, KY
grandchildren - Logan, Landen, Kinley, Joseph, Luke, Lindsay, Tristan and Sawyer
Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his father, William Donald Qualls; mother, Jo Ellen Miller; step-father, Chester Miller; brothers, Donnie Qualls, Danny Qualls and Rick Harvey; granddaughter, Sarah Joy Qualls.
