Condolences

Condolence From: Nancy Eustice
Condolence: Ruth, I just found out about Lewis today. I know this is late, however, I wanted to let you know that you and Lewis have been in my thoughts often. I am sad for the loss of Lewis, but know he is with Jesus, how glorious. I am active here in the Church of Christ in Riverton. Our preacher passed last year. Our new preacher is from Seminole Oklahoma. Small world. Members from Seminole Oklahoma came up this past summer for VBS. The preacher from Seminole, ended up being Tommy's first cousin. Just wanted to let you know that I so much appreciate you and Lewis and thank you so much for helping me get through my brother's suicide. You both were right over to my house to console me in this difficult time of my life. I love you and miss you.

Condolence From: Earle & Beverly Young
Condolence: I recall meeting Brother Hale when he was the minister at SW Church on SW 25th St., OKC. He was an excellent teacher. He was always very kind to my Aunt Sue Miller who had severe arthritis. I read his book on marriage and divorce, and found it to be very helpful and just plain common sense. He seemed to always remember my name and something about my family whenever I might have an occasion to see him, and his lovely wife, Ruth. We will miss this wonderful, Godly man, but comforted that he is with his Savior forever! May that comfort your hearts, and bring healing to all the family. Love to Ruth.

Condolence: One side, I am sorry for your loss. Other side, I cannot think of anyone more deserving of his final reward that has been layed up for him in heaven. I rejoice that Lewis is with the God he loved so much and gave his entire life telling others about Jesus Christ. Lewis must have touched thousands of lifes sharing the gospel and serving the flock at Southwest. I had the privilege of growing up as a young girl, in the home of Lewis and Ruth, I was a stray they took in and loved. Lewis set the most beautiful example of a loving husband and a great Dad to his children. I have so many fond memories of Lewis that I will keep in my heart always.
