My fondest memories of Uncle Ron is when our family would go visit on holidays. My dad(Ken) and Ron would tell stories of when they were growing up. Breaking into the science lab in school. Being chased by a ghost. Guns, cars and cabbage. Of course these shenanigans didn't stop in childhood. I remember one visit we went out to go pick Saskatoon for sandy to bake a pie. Well couldn't resist blowing up a few things while we out and about! But we still got pie and it was great!
Ron would always give us adjustments on our visits. I remember my mom giving out a big groan after a quick tweak you could hear from a mile away. But always felt better after. There was always good food at Ron's and Sandy's too!
When I applied to go for college at SAIT, which was next door to Ron's office, he took me to see the head professor of my department. This was an important day as it was a begging to a new path and Ron was there for me. Some years later and in between places Ron and Sandy let me stay in the basement until I got up on my feet and aslo got a real good deal on their old blue tempo.
My wife loved talking with Ron about physiology and philosophy. Ron gave her a lot of his old books relating to heath and the body while she was studding nursing.
There are 40 years of great stories but these where a few of the fondest.
Thank you Ron for all the Love and memories.
