Condolence: Belatedly, just became aware of Mary's passing..I knew her well back in the 1960-1970 era.Smart as a whip, and the most pleasant, kind and giving gal you could ever meet...........Mary was a triple 'A' in every virtue you would want in a person........and I indeed wondered where she was these past couple of decades, albiet the fact that I thought of her many times............Yep, those who knew her will miss her......she was like SUNSHINE........Best to her family/ son et al.........................Hal Weston

Condolence: Please accept my condolences for Mary. I worked for her at SVC in the early 90's and she was a wonderful leader and role model. I lost touch with her through the years but always thought of her fondly.

Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences on Mary's passing. I adored Mary. She was grace under fire--the utmost professional. Mary really knew her stuff. She also spoke her mind/her truth--something I respected of her. She worked harder in a day than most people worked in a week. When I think of Mary I think of her smile--and I can remember her laugh. We spent some fun times together. One in particular was a New Year's Eve, when I really became aware of her sense of humor. I have thought of her many times since we both retired from Cornell, and I will continue to. I was sad to see her leave Trumansburg. I will never forget her.

Condolence: We were fortunate to have known Mary for over 30 years as neighbors and friends. Mary was a capable, generous, and smart woman. We feel blessed that we had the chance to share some time together with Mary recently. We will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers go to Mac at this time.

Condolence: Mary and I were good friends in high school in Wellsville, and we both went to Elmira College. We were not in any of the same classes at Elmira, so I rarely saw her. After college we lost touch for many years. Mary moved around a lot and I couldn’t keep track of her whereabouts! When she moved to Ithaca, we reconnected and got to see each other a couple of times a year, always at a Thai restaurant there. I also visited her in Bennington several times and was there to see her just about three weeks ago when she was in rehab. We had a good conversation and I was looking forward to seeing her again next month on my way back from a trip to Maine. She and I always had a good time reminiscing and I will truly miss her friendship. But we have plans to meet again in the future - my burial plot will be in Mills, PA, which is only a few miles down the road from her plot in Ulysses, PA. We just don’t know if we can have Thai food delivered there!
