Bettie Farmer, 77, of Marlin left her earthly life May 29, 2018 at a local hospital.

Bettie was born January 23, 1941 to Tom and Cammie Allen. She grew up the only girl amongst 6 brothers. She worked in public doing various jobs for many years. Bettie loved people and never met a stranger. She married the love of her life, H.S. “Smithy” Farmer on September 16, 1984 and spent 27 wonderful years with him. Another great love of Bettie’s were her children and grandchildren. They were her world.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, “Smithy”; her parents; and 3 brothers.

Bettie is survived by her children; numerous grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Our Momma will be missed greatly, loved tremendously, and will always be in our hearts.
