The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alice Pember can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Jim Price
Condolence: Dear Heather, Jay and families: These messages are the hardest to send. We are all saddened by the loss of your Mom. Your folks were a wonderful part of my business life and then a great friendship grew out of that. I miss them both! I apologize but Im not able to attend the formalities. You were gifted with wonderful parents and I can only believe you are carrying on the tradition. I trust that will support you going forward.
In friendship, Jim Price

I know this has been a difficult time for all of you. Each one of you have many special memories that you will cherish forever. My thoughts are with you. I am grateful that more recently I have had visits, shared stories and was able to take her new Great Great Niece to visit. These memories along with many from years past are what I will hold dear.

Condolence: Oh my gosh it is hard to believe that she is gone. I took my Mom Eleanor over to visit quite a few times as the two of them had a very close friendship as they practically grew up together. We just were there at her apartment a few weeks ago and she was so excited to see our new granddaughters where she knitted Hats, sweaters and the blankets that she had made for them. He face lit right up. Alice would call my mom at least 2 or 3 times a week to check up on her and vise versa the two of them kept tabs on each other. Cards and lunches where shared by both over the years. We will truly miss her and her uplifting smile, patience and quick wit.
Our sincere condolences to all the family, especially to Heather and Jay.

Condolence: To Jay,Heather, and your entire family: I shall simply say that your mother was a Gift to me and my family, a Gift that has been an influence on us, and an inspiration to us, for as long as I can remember. Her strength of character, her resolute belief in Family and what that really meant, her dry wit, and those wise eyes shall never be forgotten. She was a Gift, and we treasured her. Thinking of you all and sending love,
Becky

My deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. She put up a gallant fight.
I have many fond memories of working with her at the hospital and still do some of the knitting and crocheting patterns she gave me.
I know your family are going to greatly miss her but always cherish the memories you have of her.
