Obituary for Adolf Mair

Adolf Mair, 78, of Oley, passed away, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Judith A. (DeSantis) Mair. Born in Altenbach, Bavaria, Germany, he was a son of the late Ulrich and Katerina (Steppburger) Mair. Adolf was the founder of Mair's Continental Motors in 1975 and was a member of the Evergreen German Club and Reading Liederkranz. In his spare time, he often took a rare day from work and went snow skiing or fishing. When at home, he enjoyed working outdoors and tinkering with some of his old cars. In addition to his wife, Adolf is survived by one son Rolf husband of Deborah of Oley; two grandchildren Haley and Mitchell; one sister Hedy Häusler, and many nieces and nephews in Germany. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2:00 pm -3:00 pm with services beginning at 3:00 pm in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading.
