Obituary for Dick Eugene Jordan
Dick E. Jordan, 68-year-old resident of Brainerd, MN passed away Wednesday. June 6, 2018 in Minneapolis, MN. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd, with Pastor Dave Holte officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Dick was born on November 24, 1949 in Brainerd to Anthony and Irene Jordan. He was united in marriage to Sheryl Jones on December 16, 1967 at First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd. Dick was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all. He retired seven years ago from Brainerd Public Utilities. During his retirement he enjoyed time with his family, fishing, hunting, and racing. He was the rock of the family and will be dearly missed.
Dick is survived by his wife, Sheryl Jordan of 50 years; sons, Troy (Molly) Jordan, Aaron (Jill) Jordan, Joshua Jordan, Christopher Jordan; brothers, Danny (Lucille) Jordan, Larry (Chris) Jordan; sister-in-law, Julie Jordan;12 loving grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews; and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Milender; and brother, Jack Jordan.
Arrangements are with the Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd.
