Condolence: I enjoyed running into Mariam. She always wanted to hear about my family and friends. She truly cared about people and had a great sense of humor so she always made me laugh. I wish there were more people out there like her. She was very genuine. Good job, Mariam. We miss you.

Condolence: Several years ago I was home visiting my brother and sister in Petersburg at Christmas and Miriam came to my sisters door looking for me to just catch up and say hi. It had been years since I had seen her - what a wonderful Christmas surprise that was. We had a nice long visit and I got to introduce her to my wife and kids. That visit meant the world to me that she would take the time to search me out. Miriam was such a great lady . I remember her so well. Always a big part of the kids lives a positive inspirational influence. So many great memories of her being there to support not just her son but all of us growing up. What a great woman! She will be dearly missed - her loss really saddens me. My sincere condolences.

Condolence: I sang alto with Miriam in the Petersburg Festival Chorus. She could brighten up a room with her laughter and her sometimes zany Halloween costumes. I traveled to TN together and we went with the chorus to a Spileto weekend. I so enjoyed her company. We'd talk about sisters and moms and it was always obvious that she loved hr family dearly. My sympathy to all who knew and loved her.
