The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lorraine Siple can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

One In A Million

The family of Lorraine,

First I was so saddened to hear of her passing. She was one incredible lady. I had the pleasure to work with her for many years as a patient observer. She rarely worked the night shift but when she did it was conversations about John, her condo in Florida, her place in the Bay, and her many friendships she had here. She was especially fond of Grace, Sue, and Joyce. I remember watching her eat her oyster crackers and thinking I had to fatten her up. So each time we worked together I would bring out the snacks and she would laugh at me.She would eat some though! She was a very caring person toward all her patients and would tell it like it is. Many years ago she was there for my family and we've never forgotten the endless conversations we had with her. She was one of many reasons I came to have the career I do now. Many people wondered why she still worked at her age. It was simple. She liked being around people and liked what she did. She was good at it. She has been missed here, but she left her mark on our hearts. You were a fiesty lady Lorraine. One of a kind. Dance in the heavens with your John. Thank you for all you did for us.
