Obituary for Kevin Markland
Kevin D. Markland, 56, of Neptune, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at home. He was born in Indiana. Kevin graduated from Marlboro High School in 1980. After high school Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Navy and traveled the world as an air traffic controller. Kevin enjoyed a long career in the Food and Beverage service and enjoyed cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks. .He was a very proud father of two daughters, Jessika Rae, 24 and Rebecka Lee, 22.
Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Pamela Markland and his grandparents. He is survived by his father, Samuel Markland of Indiana; his two daughters, Jessika Rae and Rebecka Lee Markland of Belmar; his two sisters, Tonya Naugle and Lara Markland of Indiana and his brother, Toby Markland of North Carolina. Kevin is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 3 to 7 on Friday, June 15, at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. A prayer service will follow will begin at 6:30 pm. The cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St, Eatontown NJ, 07724.
