Condolences

Condolence From: Bart B.
Condolence: I’m so sorry to hear of Micks passing. I have nothing but fond memories of the time we were stationed together at the Coast Guard Radioman School in Petaluma. Mick had a heart of gold along with a wonderful and unique sense of humor. The students loved having Mick as an instructor, because he always made class fun. I have so many great memories of Mick including splitting a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken while driving over the Golden Gate Bridge after attending a Metallica concert, lengthy conversations wondering what exactly is the nougat in a Snickers candy bar and his being crowned Grand Champion of the Radioman School mustache growing contest. I am grateful to have known Mick and am thankful for the memories.

Condolence: Anne, Mike, and the rest of the McKenzie Clan - I am so, so sorry to hear of the loss of "Mick" - The heartache at this time seems unbearable and know you will be wondering when laughter will come easily into your lives again - it will, be assured of that - I am sure that with all my cousins, the "McKenzie's, your hearts will be filled with peace and "Mick" will be there with you in spirit - I feel remiss that I did not know him, but also know that if he was anything like his dad and mom, he was good, good people - I am sure he enjoyed life, and hopefully, he was one of the McKenzie Clan to get a deer - All love Anne and Mike - my thoughts are with you, Terry

Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mick’s passing. I had hoped to catch up with him again after his return to Vermont, but unfortunately the busy life we lead kept that from happening. Like many others I enjoyed his messages on Facebook; the gentle digs at anyone disapproving of his beloved Colts, his love for and the pursuit of everything bacon, his love of family, and wisdom and guidance for his son. I am sure you know how much you meant to him Liam, and I know he will be missing you as much as you will miss him but take some comfort in knowing he will always be watching over you from above. We all need more people like Mick in our lives and I’m sure there is a reason for God to take him so soon, just wish he hadn’t. My sincere condolences to all the family and anyone that knew Mick and hope you can see through the pain of his loss and remember how much fun he was while he was here and how deeply he cared for you all. God bless and rest in peace my friend until we meet again.
