The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Max Medina can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Max J Medina

Max J Medina
Max Jerry Medina Jr. passed away on Wednesday, June 20 surrounded by God's love and grace, his earthly family, and memorabilia of his beloved Broncos. Jerry was born and raised in northern Colorado but knew every corner and crevice of the state.

He was the oldest of seven but had the heart and humor of the youngest. He met his wife Kathy as a teenager, and the two were inseparable for nearly half a century. Jerry was a carpenter, as handy with a hammer as he was with an opportunity. That's to say, he never let one pass.

He imparted his strong work ethic, humor, and enormously kind and giving heart to his and Kathy's three children, Nathan (Danielle), Maxine (Fernando), and Katie Ann (David), all of whom survive him. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Kyle, Jake, Alondra, and Jordan; sisters, Christine (Phil), Gloria, and Sheryl; brothers, Jack, Ron, and Vic; too many cousins, nieces, and nephews to name; and his mother, Grace. His father, Max Sr., preceded him.

Memorial service will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace in Greeley, Colorado.
