Obituary for Majel June Johnson
Majel June Johnson, age 91, of Baxter, passed away on June 27, 2018 at her home. Majel was born in Brainerd to Lyle & Nellie Merle (Cofield) Wunderlich. She married John Johnson on March 29, 1947.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Rev. Blane (Darlene) Huston of Rochester, Judi (Rev. Bob) Koscak of Rapid City, SD, Tim (Kathy) Johnson of Richfield, Kevin (Jane) Johnson of Brainerd and Nancy (Scott) Simenstad of Aitkin; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Majel is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; a grandson, Travis.
A celebration of Majel’s life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11AM at Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter. Visitation will be from 10-11AM, Saturday at the church. Interment will be at Dykeman Cemetery.
