Condolence From: Jackie Griffith
Condolence: You just never know... when I woke up Thursday morning I didn’t dream I would be losing the only real father we had ever had. We might not have been his biological children but he was still our father. He was always there with us. He coached my brothers baseball all the way up thru the years, with the Burleson Youth Association in Burleson, teaching all of us about every aspect of baseball. He loved to surprise us with tickets to see the Texas Rangers. He taught us how to bowl, he taught us how to fish, he taught me everything I know about growing a fantastic garden. He might have not been handy with tools, repairs and machinery, but the man could grow a super Texas Size Garden. He was a devoted Christian, he would witness to anyone about accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, He invited everyone he talk to, to his church the next Sunday. He Love to read the bible before he became legally blind and attend Bible study with his small group at church. Tomorrow would have been my parent’s 47th wedding anniversary but instead he is starting his heavenly anniversary with his lord and savior.. He is no longer suffering with stage 4 dementia, he is no longer blind or deaf, Confused, or in pain . He is whole and made new. He has grandchildren and great grandchildren that will always treasure his hugs and “Papa” talks. He was always smiling and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Papa, Dad, Honey, Sam you will be missed, enjoy heaven and all the beauty that you so well deserve. Rest In Peace Sam Morton we all love you and have a angel watching over us all. I love you and thank you for loving me!!!!!Your Daughter Jackie--Aug.28 1934 to June 28,2018
