Jerry D. Reed

On June 23, 2018 Our ‘Highway Hero’ took the highway to heaven.
Jerry was born April 17, 1949 to Leonard and Ruth Reed in Flagler, Colorado. He graduated from Simla High School in 1967. Jerry was a trucker for many years, he worked at Sysco Billings from 1981 until he retired in November of 2008.
Jerry began his life with wife Marlene in July of 1981. They had two daughters, Shawna (35) and Amanda (33). Jerry enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling, gardening, crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with his loved ones. He is proceeded in death by his father, Leonard Reed, his older brother, JR Reed and his mother-in-law, Mary A. Dickey. Jerry is survived by his wife Marlene, daughters, Shawna and Amanda
(William), grandchildren Caleb, Colby, and Izabel Bentley. His mother Ruth Reed, Siblings Debra (Mike), Pam, Arlen, and Danny (Clair) Reed. His is also survived by in-laws Debbie Johnson (Bill), Sam Dickey (Debby) and Connie Groblebe (Frank); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his best friend Gene Johnson and his wife Kathy.

Viewing will be held Thursday July 5th from 1pm to 8pm at Smiths Downtown Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be held Saturday July 7th, 1pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
