My dad, Wayne and Pat, along with Dan North & Harold Sharkey were good friends from Lions Club. Even though I had already left home, I remember the stories about all of their antics. I remember how funny Pat was and always made everyone laugh. After I moved away from Missoula, i remember coming to visit and my dad would be at Mr. C's. We would have to go and get him and of course, you could not leave without at least one drink. I remember that dad would close down Mr. C's and then invite everyone in the bar back to our house for breakfast, much to my mother's surprise. I remember the day that my dad passed away in 1993, when I arrived at my parent's home from Billings, there was Pat, Dan and Harold and some other Lions Club members sitting with my mother until we arrived so she wouldn't be alone. He helped organize the last party at the Wages house after the funeral. He even brought over another refrigerator because we had so much food. I will carry those happy and funny memories with me forever as will my sister Janice and my mom, Fay. Patty, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children.
