Rosa Lee Golden  Dawkins

Mrs. Rosa Lee Golden Dawkins, 75, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late John Wesley Golden, Jr., and Clara Dogan Golden.

She attended Greenville County Schools. She joined the New Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age, after moving to Greenville, she attended various churches. She was an usher when attending Bethlehem Baptist Church and a missionary while at Shady Oak Baptist Church. She also fellowshipped at Enoree Fork Baptist Church and Angelic House of God.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents: two brothers, Leo Golden and Charles Golden; and two nephews, Anthony Epps and Steve Lee Young.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories: one son, Charles Dawkins, Jr., of Greenville; four sisters, Glorice Golden Pruitt of Greenville, Bobbie Jean Young of Piedmont, Doris (Willie) Lewis of Virginia, and Shirley (Joseph) Garrett of Greenville; one brother, Matthew (Brenda) Golden of Belton; two grandchildren, Adrian and Dwayne Dawkins; dedicated family member, Judy Dogan; loyal caretakers, Melvina Robertson and Leonetria Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
