Condolence: I am so sad to say goodbye to this wonderful woman. Joan [mom to me] was filled with grace, compassion and a whole heap of patience! I learned from her that no matter the situation there is a reason to stay kind and humble. I will forever cherish our hours together over Chinese checkers, card games and cookie baking [she baked, I ate]. These past years every time I spoke with Joan she would start and end with "you know you're always welcome". That's her. Now I wish her renewed life with her dear ones who went ahead. And I give special thanks to Nancy, Karen and Kim who delighted, cared for and comforted her. Thank you, ladies!
